About Alex von Saxe Productions Limited

ASP is an independent film and theatre production company established in 2009. When The Lilac Blooms, My Love is the company's first stage production in the West End and the company is currently in pre-production for two feature-length films. Tatiana von Saxe is the Executive Producer for the company. She is associated with Delancey Press and is the founder of The People's Book Prize. Alex von Saxe Productions Ltd web site.

Jane Huxley

Author
Jane Huxley lives and works in New York, London and the south of France. She is married to an American physician and has two daughters.

Simon Beyer

Director
Simon has written, directed and produced over 50 productions. His most recent credits include: My Fifteen Minutes- the Musical (Writer/Composer) at the New Wimbledon Theatre; Wake Up!! By Houlton & Jordan (Director) at The Cock Tavern Theatre; Feral by Toby Clarke (Producer) at the New Wimbledon Theatre; Studies For A Portrait by Daniel Reitz (Producer) at The White Bear/Oval House theatres; BodyClock by Allan Swift (Producer) at The White Bear Theatre. He is Chairman of StoneCrabs Theatre Company, and is the Founder of one of London's most exciting venues, The Cock Tavern Theatre. His company, Words and Picture Productions, focuses solely on New Writing for theatre and film.

Fly Davis

Set and Costume Designer
Fly trained at RADA in Technical Theatre Arts and Stage Management. She then specialised in set and costume design at Motley with the graduating exhibition held at the National Theatre in July 2009. Her credits include Associate Designer to John Napier on Disconnect- Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Upstairs, and its transfer to Elephant and Castle for their Theatre Local season. Design Assistant on The Whisky Taster- Bush Theatre. Set and Costume Designer for Bloody Poetry, and A Madman's Confession- both at the White Bear Theatre. Costume Assistant for the English National Ballet- Coliseum, and Design Assistant for new writing theatre companies; Paines Plough- Shunt Vaults, Nabokov- Shoreditch Village Underground, The Malleables- Arcola Theatre and Punchdrunk- Battersea Arts Centre. She has just designed Simon Beyer's musical My 15 Minutes at The New Wimbledon Studio. Fly is the Associate Designer to the physical theatre company, Dumbshow and is the Co Artistic Director of the arts collective, Catapulting Cocoon.

Richard Williamson

Lighting Designer
Trained at LAMDA, previous lighting designs include: Richard III, An Arab Tragedy Swan Theatre Stratford and international tour, Peer Gynt, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream,The Night Just Before the Forest, Tartuffe,Through a Cloud, King Arthur, Mojo Mickybo, The Great Theatre of the World, Tombstone Tales Arcola Theatre, In My Name Trafalgar Studios, Follow Finborough, Play Size Young Vic, All Those People I Have Met Hoxton Hall, Dutchman Etcetera Theatre and Edinburgh Festival, Blue Jam - Etcetera Theatre and Riverside Studios, The Al-Hamlet Summit (English and Arabic productions) - Tokyo International Festival and international tour, Best Friends New End, Crossing the line- Baltimore college, USA, Onysos the Wild Theatre 503 and Traverse Theatre Edinburgh, Summer Begins Southwark Playhouse. Other work includes Associate Lighting Designer for Mrs Warren's Profession Strand Theatre London and National Tour, Assistant Lighting Designer for Elmina's Kitchen National Tour and West End, and re-lights for the Lyric Hammersmith production of Metamorphosis.

Samuel Charleston

Sound Designer
Previous Sound Designs include "American Bytes" at the New Wimbledon Studio, "Painting a Wall" at the Finborough, and "The Importance of Being Earnest" at LAMDA. Sam also works freelance on various shows and venues around London, including the Royal Court, the Young Vic, and West End Shows "Jersey Boys" (Prince Edward Theatre) and "Rat Pack: Live From Las Vegas" (Adelphi). Sam trained at LAMDA.

Jacob Mason-Dixon

Assistant Lighting Designer
Jacob studied Theatre Arts at Middlesex University. He has worked professionally across a variety of back stage disciplines including stage management, lighting design and set construction. He is the in house technician for the Tristan Bates Theatre in Covent Garden, and also works at the Bernie Grant Art Centre. Jacob has also worked in varying technical capacities at amongst others, The New End, The Finborough, The New Wimbledon Studio, Oval House, The Hampstead, The White Bear, and The Cock Tavern theatres.

Helen Stone

Stage Manager
Helen graduated from the Stage Management and Technical Theatre course at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2009. Since then she has worked as Production Manager on A Respectable Wedding (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2009) with ONO Theatre Company and with West Sussex County Youth Theatre on Henry V (Minerva Theatre, Chichester). As stage manager she has worked on You May Go Now (Finborough Theatre) and The Unimportant History of Britain (Above the Stag) She has also worked as assistant stage manager on several shows in the West End including Legally Blond and The Rat Pack.

Jessica Harwood

Deputy Stage Manager
Jessica studied Drama at Loughborough University before deciding to pursue a career in backstage theatre. She trained at LAMDA in Technical Theatre and Stage Management. Since graduating in 2009 she has worked on a number of productions including the Bush Theatre on '2nd May 1997' and The Theatre in Chipping Norton for their annual pantomime as Deputy Stage Manager. Other theatre credits include working at The Royal Court, Manchester Royal Exchange and The Tricycle Theatre.

Tatiana von Saxe

Assistant Director / Producer
Although Tatiana calls herself an 'entrepreneur' others describe her as a successful business woman in many
fields. Her interests include marketing, finance, publishing and is currently in pre-production of two feature-length films.

Rosie Elizabeth Houlton

Assistant Producer
Rosie is our youngest member on the team - being just 21 - but she is no stranger to the role or the performing arts, having been involved in all aspects of theatre from an early age. She is co-founder of the recently formed J&H Productions, with their debut show Wake Up!! a sell-out success at the award-winning Cock Tavern Theatre in 2009 and also previously worked as Associate Producer with Oak's Productions at Milton Keynes Theatre on One Night Only - An Evening of Musical Theatre. In March 2010 the two companies joined forces to produce a show at the Picturedrome, Northampton. Rosie is excited to be part of When The Lilac Blooms, My Love, her first West End production.
